About Us

Centrally located in the heart of Orange County, the firm prides itself on being well acquainted with analyzing, preparing, investigating, negotiating, and litigating criminal charges.

Investigation & Preparation

To understand your position in a criminal case, you must be fully aware of what kinds of facts work for or against you (if any).  This is the key in establishing a solid defense for the purpose maximizing your chances at better offers or outright victory in the courtroom.

Highly Experienced Investigators

To do this, the firm retains both civil and criminal investigators, some who happen to be former officers and district attorney detectives.  While not necessary, it's best to have several perspectives on a particular case to make sure you are not overlooking some aspect that a jury or judge would consider over other factors.  This is what sets apart the firm from others.

Investigators do everything necessary to build a strong factual background in your case by doing all or some of the following: interviewing witnesses, obtaining records, measuring crime scene, obtaining expert opinions, and organizing complicated and hard to understand subject material.

When it comes time to decide, your team will help you make the best choice in the direction of your case.

Experience in Orange County Courts

Some say your fate rests in the hands of judge who may or may not have had a good breakfast that morning.  We at the firm say you need to know a lot more than that.

Judges in Orange County criminal courts have personalities just like everyone else.  You will find some tend to favor rehabilitation over others, so long as there are good arguments to support it.  Others prefer to see a positive step forward by the defendant before they would consider what you want.  It is essential to know the difference between these judges and where your best options will be.

Defense Lawyer Corp. uses its knowledge to guide you through our complicated court system because it doesn't make sense to walk into a battle if you don't know who you're up against.

Experience in Criminal Jury Trials

In the world of lawyers, there are two: Those who litigate, and those who can't.  In some areas of law, its never required to fight in a courtroom because the industry simply doesn't need it.  But when it comes to Criminal Defense, there is no other way to practice well.

From the first glance at the police report, a good defense lawyer will have to have the ability to see into the future on several factors: which witnesses will be available, how will they testify, will other witnesses corroborate their testimony, will documents hurt or help them, will an expert be needed.  The list can potentially be endless.

To create a successful defense, you must have a defense lawyer that uses this exact foresight to your benefit.  The firm prides itself on not only maneuvering successfully through the complex jury trial world, but on having a solid base of victories in the courtroom that is a testament to our dedication.

Experience in All Charges

Defense Lawyer Corp. handles every criminal charge from DUI's to Homicides.  This level of experience is necessary in ways you may not imagine.

For example, if you were to be arrested for drug possession where there can be some argument that it was possessed for the purposes of selling, your case has become completely different if and when the district attorney's office chooses to file sales charges against you.  An attorney who has only handled drug possession cases will be inexperienced to handle a sales case.

Another example can be a DUI that results in another person being seriously hurt.  After the driver is arrested for felony DUI (due to the injury), it could be possible that the victim eventually dies.  Now, depending on the circumstances of the case, the driver could be facing anything from Vehicular Manslaughter to Murder! An attorney that has only handled DUI's will not be equipped to handle the complexities of a Murder trial that is most likely approaching fast.

No matter what your charges, the firm is prepared to defend you.  Select the charge on the left side of this website that best describes the accusation that has been made against you or someone you know to learn more about it.

Understands You

The firm understands something that cannot be faked. The client is in a very vulnerable position.  When a surgeon operates on the patient, there is one issue involved: Health.  But when it comes to an attorney and their client, there are personal elements that cannot be overlooked.

Some clients feel embarrassment over what has happened while others are filled with anger.  One-size does not fit all when it comes to criminal defense professionalism.  Nobody likes to be told they have to stay overtime on their birthday.  Nor does anyone want to go to a party when they have just experienced a traumatic event.  There is a time and a place to consider some things over others, and it takes more than just a "professional" to understand that.

We are prepared to fight for you as much as we are prepared to care for your well-being.
